Our Story:
Two sisters (Denise and Kim) dedicated to healing companion animals and sentient beings, enabling them to live their best lives happy and healthy.
Our journey began over 10 years ago in Southern California, working in canine and feline rescue. We adopted special needs and senior pets, seeking ways to improve their comfort and quality of life. This led us to explore both eastern and western medicine therapies.
In 2016, we adopted Lilly, a Belgian Shepherd mix, followed by Mason, a senior German Shepherd diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) and Intervertebral Disk Disease (IVDD). Eastern medicine therapies extended Mason's mobility for several months. After moving to Colorado in 2020 with our pack of 4 (2 dogs and 2 cats), we faced challenges in finding similar care, which deepened our commitment to helping senior and special needs animals.
We adopted Riley, another senior German Shepherd, in 2021, and later Skylee, a diabetic Golden Retriever and former puppy mill mom. Despite health challenges, our pets thrived with dedicated care and therapy.
In 2022 after losing 3 of our 4 original companions, we pursued certification in acupressure through the RMSAAM Small Animal and Equine Acupressure program, volunteering at a horse sanctuary to complete our case studies. Our mission is to provide holistic care and support for senior and special needs animals, ensuring they live happy, healthy lives. We are certified in the state of Colorado in small animal and equine acupressure therapy!
